Who is A# Sharp?
A# Sharp School of Rock and Bach is a school where music is always in session. Founded in 1992 by Mark Pierce, A# Sharp has played a large role in many musicians’ careers in and out of the San Antonio area. Private lessons are our main game, but we also offer opportunities for our students to join in small ensembles such as our rock bands, string quartets, choir and Jazz Ensemble. A# Sharp also offers instruments for purchase, as well as repair services.
Private Lessons
A# Sharp School of Rock and Bach has several teachers who know several instruments. We teach EVERYTHING at A#, from trombone to bassoon, Rock & Roll drum set to upright jazz bass. Lessons start as low as $18 for 30 minutes. Call today to get a price quote!
Small Ensembles
A# Sharp School of Rock and Bach offers ensembles that allow students to play their instruments year round! In addition, the performance opportunities and experience gained is something every aspiring musician needs. Ensembles include A# Sharp Jazz Band, various rock bands, Chamber Orchestra and Choir.
Student Recitals
A# Sharp hosts two recitals annually in order to showcase our amazing student's talent. These recitals are a great opportunity to give that hard work and dedication validity. Recitals are held at St. Mary’s University in the Treadaway Recital Hall.
